Ash/Iron is a clean, versatile grey combo that layers easily for both fishing and everyday use. The Guideline Loft Vest is designed to add core warmth without limiting your range of motion, making it ideal for fly fishing and general outdoor wear.

With an excellent warmth-to-weight feel and very low packed volume, it’s a true year-round layer: wear it as a mid-layer under a waterproof shell or on its own when conditions are milder. It also packs into its own inner pocket, so it takes up minimal space in your bag.

Insulation comes from 60 g recycled Guideloft™, built to efficiently retain body heat. The insulation is made from recycled polyester and combines hollow and solid fibers to maintain loft, softness and durability.

Fishing-oriented details are spot on: a high collar helps block wind, elastic armholes keep warmth in without getting in the way while casting. On the chest you’ll find a Hypalon docking station for securing accessories, and a rear webbing loop for easy net attachment.

Pocket setup is practical in cold weather: two padded hand pockets with YKK® zippers and fleece lining, plus an internal vertical zip pocket that also works as the vest’s stuff sack for packing it down.

Materials are chosen responsibly: the shell is 100% recycled 20D nylon, bluesign® approved, with no intentionally added PFAS. The front YKK® zipper is protected by a padded placket to improve comfort and help retain warmth in colder conditions.
