IDA merino socks are made from a carefully selected blend of two wool yarns. Specifically, these are Merino wool and Alpaca wool. These socks are designed for extreme conditions. They are suitable for multi-day demanding hiking in very cold weather. Thanks to the higher terry loops made of Merino wool, they provide the highest thermal comfort of the entire Northman sock range. Now available in a beautiful pink shade. Merino wool has thermoregulatory properties, is breathable and absorbs sweat, keeping your feet comfortable and dry all day long. Don't be afraid to push yourself to the limit! Be Northman!

NORTHMAN socks are made from branded, functional materials that require appropriate care to maintain their exceptional performance for as long as possible. But you don't have to worry, maintenance is very simple and you just need to follow a few basic, well-known rules. If you follow them, our products will serve you for a long and fully functional life.

• use a conventional wet wash in the washing machine on the delicate programme or wash by hand
• when washing in the washing machine, remove anything that could mechanically damage the material. Therefore, watch out for forgotten items in pockets or other items washed at the same time.
• beware of Velcro fasteners that could damage the material
• observe the recommended washing temperature of 40°C, do not rely on your subjective feeling to determine this temperature
• use only detergents, preferably liquid detergents, designed for functional materials
• do not add any other additives (bleach, fabric softener, etc.)
• after washing, the clothes should be rinsed thoroughly to wash out even the slightest residues of detergents and dirt
• after washing, remove the garment from the bath or washing machine and start drying immediately
• do not leave wet socks folded in a bag, rucksack or elsewhere for unnecessarily long periods of time
• follow the rules expressed by the washing symbols on the label of each of our products
