The 3M 7500 series half mask is a comfortable and reliable respirator for workshop conditions where fumes and vapours are part of the job – typically soft bait making (plastisol, pigments, cleaners) and work around lead casting. The soft silicone facepiece seals well and stays comfortable even during longer sessions. For longer sessions, we recommend a full face respirator, which also protects your eyes and improves comfort during extended work.

Key points:
→ a half mask protects your breathing, but it does not protect your eyes – for plastisol and lead work we recommend adding safety glasses / a face shield, or choosing a full face respirator for maximum comfort and protection.
→ for workshop vapours, pairing the mask with 3M ABEK1 filters (EN 14387) is the right approach – this is the filter type commonly used for stronger workshop fumes and vapours.

Sizes (quick guide):
→ S – smaller face (often women / smaller head)
→ M – the most universal and most commonly chosen size
→ L – for larger faces and wider head shapes
