SAF PLASTI-X BRAVO 15 cm – Delight UV is a hand-poured and laminated soft lure that we make piece by piece here in-house. This is not just another generic mass-produced lure built only around a loud colour. This version stands on a combination of a transparent body, a strong UV effect, lively glitter and the proven BRAVO profile that works in the water in a clean, stable and convincing way.

The Delight UV colour is built on a transparent yellow-green base that looks very lively in the water, while still keeping more depth and a more natural expression than ordinary opaque fluo lures. The transparent material does a big part of the work here. Light is not reflected only from the surface, but also passes through the body of the lure, so the final effect does not look flat or lifeless, but much more interesting and believable.

We also add a UV activator into the material, so Delight UV is not just a nice-looking colour for the box. It is a version made for situations where you need the lure to light up more and become easier for fish to notice – in stained water, at dusk, in poor light, in greater depth or whenever softer and more subtle colours simply stop working. This is exactly where this colour starts to make a lot of sense.

The BRAVO 15 cm model is highly usable for targeting bigger predators that want a more visible and bulkier meal. It makes excellent sense especially for zander, pike and catfish, but it also performs very well in saltwater fishing, where a stronger visual signal often makes the difference. This is where the 15 cm size, clearly readable action and bold UV colour come together in a lure that can still get noticed when standard soft baits simply pass through the water without any response.

SAF PLASTI-X also has very strong use in saltwater fishing. And this is exactly where stronger colours like Delight UV make outstanding sense. Based on our own experience and customer feedback, similar transparent UV colours perform very well in Norway, where you need a lure that stands out in the water but still does not look stupidly overdone. BRAVO 15 fits active spinning, retrieving through the water column and classic fishing around the boat. For cod, coalfish, pollack and other predators, this is exactly the kind of lure that can offer something different from standard commercial mass-produced soft baits.

And now the most important thing: eyes make the lure. That is exactly why we do not use cheap anonymous eyes with no expression on SAF PLASTI-X. We rig them with high-quality Sybai 3D eyes that have a significantly more robust resin layer than common cheap alternatives. As a result, they not only look better, but also give the lure a stronger and cleaner overall expression that really matters in the water.

The way the eye is seated also makes a big difference. We glue the eyes with gel super glue, not with thin liquid glue that tends to run, create a messy bond or leave an ugly air gap under the eye. The gel seats the eye properly, fills the space and helps create a clean, full and visually strong detail. And in the end, that is more visible on a finished lure than many people realize.

SAF PLASTI-X is not something created behind a desk. These handmade soft lures are made from materials we know, use and sell ourselves. This is not an anonymous mass-produced bait, but our own product built on experience, real production and on what we genuinely want to fish with ourselves, without compromise.
