BKK Fangs-62 UA 1/0 is the first aught size in the Fangs-62 range and sits practically between size #1 and the larger 2/0. It is intended for situations where you need a wider hook gape and more secure contact with the fish than the numbered sizes provide, but do not want to burden the lure with an unnecessarily heavy 3X or 4X treble. Size 1/0 is a sensible choice for large hardbaits, jerkbaits, stickbaits, topwater lures, larger spoons and metal lures, as well as large articulated pike streamers.

The 2X designation describes the wire and strength class. Fangs-62 is not the lightest fine-wire treble, but neither is it a heavy-duty model designed for extreme saltwater fishing.
