BKK hook Aberdeen-R Diamond #2/0 8pcs

Product detailed description

BKK Aberdeen-R Diamond 2/0 (8 pcs) is an eyed single hook primarily intended for freshwater natural-bait fishing. Its lighter construction suits situations where you want to limit damage during baiting and retain natural bait movement.

The hook combines a sharp needle point, forged construction and a regular eye for tying your leader. BKK uses a Black Nickel finish and heat treatment that retains some wire flexibility. This is not a heavy-duty power hook; match the rig and drag setting to the lighter construction.

For size 2/0, compare the actual bend and shank with the bait you intend to use. A size number alone does not identify a target species. Mount the bait so it cannot slide over the point and obstruct it. Check local rules before using baitfish.

The longer shank can also suit appropriately sized streamer patterns. Check the proportions of the pattern and the required strength before tying. Dry the hook after fishing, inspect the point and replace damaged or significantly straightened hooks.
