BKK hooks Spear-21 UVC #8 (7pcs)

Product detailed description

BKK Spear-21 UVC #8 (7 pcs) is a replacement treble for fishing lures and custom rigs. The right hook should preserve lure action while leaving the points free to work.

The UVC version uses a UV-reactive Chartreuse finish. Its bright colour detail can be tried in coloured water and reduced-light conditions. The reaction depends on available UV light; it is not a promise of a self-powered glow in complete darkness.

For this smaller size, pay particular attention to the clearance beneath the lure body. On compact hardbaits and topwater lures, even a small change in hook weight can affect balance and the lure’s position during a pause.

Use split-ring pliers when changing hooks and avoid stretching the ring unnecessarily. Check that the new hook moves freely, then test the lure briefly in the water. Inspect the points and bends after contact with rocks or snags. Replace damaged or dull hooks and let your tackle dry before storage.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

How many hooks are in this pack?

This pack contains 7 BKK Spear-21 UVC trebles in size #8.

Does the UVC finish glow in complete darkness?

UVC has a UV-reactive Chartreuse finish that depends on available UV light. Do not treat it as a self-glowing phosphorescent material.

How do I choose a replacement size?

Compare actual dimensions and weight with the original hook. Check body clearance, free movement and lure balance.

Should I test the lure after changing hooks?

Yes. A change of hook or split ring can affect action, sinking and the position during pauses. Test the lure briefly before fishing.
