Guideline NT11 Tournament Fly Rod is a specialist double-hand Spey rod developed for tournament casting, maximum distance and dedicated casting enthusiasts. This is not a general all-round salmon rod. It is the most distance-focused model in the NT11 double-hand family, built for casters who want extreme line speed, deep power loading and the highest possible performance from a 15' Spey rod.

The rod was developed with former Spey Casting World Champion Tellis Katsogiannos and is based on a highly specific competition casting concept. Guideline describes it as a tool built for the podium: super light, extremely powerful and designed to bring new levels of distance to the cast. Tellis also used this rod to break the official ICSF world record in the 15'1 Spey Distance category.

The blank uses T1100 CAP technology, combining ultra-elastic 46T Low Resin Material, T1100 graphite layers and Guideline’s CAP cross-construction structure. This creates a very light but exceptionally strong blank with enormous recovery power, high compression strength and outstanding durability under heavy casting load.

The action is unique within the NT11 range. It sits between the standard NT11 rods and the NT11 Fast Full Flex models. In practice, the rod loads deeply and powerfully, but still recovers extremely fast. That combination gives the caster access to huge stored energy, very high line speed and long, clean turnover with heavy tournament-style heads.

The 15' #11/12+ 55–75 g model is designed for serious Spey distance casting and heavy-head work. It has the power to carry and release long, heavy shooting head systems, while the deep but controlled flex helps the caster hold load through the stroke. This rod rewards timing, technique and a powerful casting style rather than casual fishing use.

NT11 Tournament is equipped with FLOR-grade cork, powder cork reinforcement on the rear grip and fighting butt, lightweight titanium-framed stripping guides, high-quality stainless steel single-leg running guides with titanium coating and a custom hard-anodized reel seat with gold trim details. The blank has a matte satin deep carbon-grey finish with a subtle spiral pattern, burgundy guide wraps and gold metallic trims on ferrules and logo areas.

The rod is supplied with a light and strong 4-way stretch nylon rod bag and a light polycarbonate rod tube with a strong polyester fabric cover and natural leather logo patch. Guideline states a 25-year original owner warranty for NT11 rods under the manufacturer’s warranty conditions.
