Savage Gear Soft Fluorocarbon 0.49 mm 35 m is a supple leader material for freshwater and saltwater rigs. Use it as the end section between your main line and lure, cutting the leader length to suit the fishing method.

100% fluorocarbon – a soft, clear leader material for natural lure movement.
Soft Fluorocarbon uses a supple 100% fluorocarbon construction. It is non-absorbent and UV resistant. Underwater visibility still depends on lighting, clarity, background and diameter; complete invisibility cannot be guaranteed.
This medium diameter supports a more substantial leader for freshwater and lighter saltwater lure fishing. Check that its stiffness and connection diameter do not restrict lure action or guide clearance.
The stated breaking strain is not a drag setting or a guarantee of finished rig strength. Knots, connections and wear can reduce the strength of the complete setup. Tighten knots smoothly and pull-test every finished connection. Larger diameters need an appropriate knot or leader connection.
Abrasion resistance does not mean bite-proof protection. Consider a suitable steel or titanium leader when specifically targeting pike.
