SAVAGE GEAR CUTBAIT HERRING 25CM 460G

Product detailed description

Savage Gear Cutbait Herring 25 cm / 460 g is a large soft sea-fishing lure for halibut and big cod. It follows the shape of a herring, and this version is supplied in an economy pack with one silicone body and one jig head.

The range was developed with experienced Scandinavian sea-fishing guides. Under Skin colouring adds to the lifelike fish profile, while the hook arrangement uses Japanese hooks made for the range.

The 25 cm version can be used for fishing at depth and for trolling. Adapt the presentation to depth, current and drift speed. The same lure will sink and hold its fishing depth differently as conditions change, so keep track of the rig throughout the presentation.

If adding a trace or stinger, match it to the size of the lure and its existing hook arrangement. Leave the tail free, check the connections and test the action of the complete rig in the water before lowering it to depth.
