SAF PLASTI-X MAHI 15cm – Blue Smoke Shiner UV is a hand-poured and carefully finished soft bait that we produce piece by piece here in-house. This version stands on a natural smoky transparent blue tone, the slim hybrid MAHI profile, and UV activity that adds another layer of visibility in the water.

Blue Smoke Shiner UV is not built around aggressive fluo contrast. Its strength comes from a more natural and refined baitfish logic. The smoky base combined with transparent blue creates a lure with depth, a clean fish-like look, and a subtle light effect. The UV effect helps keep the bait readable in situations where a purely natural tone benefits from a little extra support.

Within the SAF PLASTI-X concept, the MAHI 15cm represents a hybrid soft bait profile. Compared with bulkier classic shads, it offers a slimmer body, livelier movement, and a more natural overall presentation. We rig these lures with quality 12 mm Sybai 3D eyes, which have a stronger resin layer and help give the bait a cleaner and more distinctive final look. The eyes are attached with gel super glue, which seats them precisely and avoids messy bonds or unattractive gaps underneath.

We put the same level of care into the final finishing of every bait. After trimming the lure from the plastisol, each cut point is hand-sealed so the final result looks clean, consistent, and professional. These details may seem small, but they make a visible difference on the finished bait.
