Saltwater Fishing Sinker
Code: SAFM400Related products
Product detailed description
This terminal sea-fishing sinker has a rubber-painted surface. The 400–600 g versions are used at the end of boom rigs or conventional rigs with side traces. Baits sit on the traces above the weight, while the sinker helps keep the presentation at the intended depth.
For baits on side traces – the terminal weight keeps the rig at depth while the baits work above it.
An alternative to a pilker – for boom and side-trace rigs; choose the weight according to current, depth and drift.
A terminal sinker can replace a pilker where seaweed or other obstacles increase the risk of snagging, provided the rig carries separate baits. It does not eliminate snagging entirely. Select the weight according to depth, current and the speed of your drift.
