ZOOM Mag II Worm 22.8 cm is a long soft worm with a gently working ribbon tail that has a very interesting place in the SAF range for saltwater fishing in Norway. Even though it was originally designed as an American freshwater bait, in our practice this type works very well mainly for light spinning for pollock, when you need a longer, slimmer and more natural-looking profile instead of an unnecessarily bulky and overly aggressive soft bait.

That is exactly where the Mag II Worm stands out. It is not a bait for heavy deep-water vertical fishing or for an aggressive style of fishing with high weights. It makes the most sense when you are fishing more actively, more precisely and with lighter tackle – typically around ledges, rocky areas, kelp beds, current breaks or uneven coastal structure, where pollock are very willing to attack long and slender prey both in the water column and on the drop.
