Product detailed description
BKK Puka Live Bait HD 6/0 is a heavy-duty natural-bait hook for saltwater fishing. It has a forged shank, a Hand Ground point and an Ultra-Antirust finish.
Match the entire rig – Balance the leader, knot and swivel with the bait, drag setting and fishing conditions.
The heavy forged shank is intended for demanding fishing for larger saltwater species. The finish improves corrosion resistance, but the hook should still be rinsed and dried after use.
Use an appropriately sized baitfish, mackerel, squid or large piece of natural bait. Leave enough clearance between the point and shank; an oversized hook can unnecessarily burden a small bait.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Is it a replacement hook for hard lures?
Puka Live Bait HD is primarily a natural-bait hook. For replacing hooks on artificial lures, choose a replacement model and check its weight and eye orientation.
How do I choose the size?
Size numbers vary between hook series; compare actual dimensions and intended use as well.
How should I care for the hooks?
Rinse with fresh water and dry after saltwater use. Check the point, eye and shape after impact or a snag; replace a damaged hook.
→ Before ordering, check the hook size and pack quantity.
