Product detailed description

BKK Infinity Swivel is a premium stainless steel ball bearing swivel designed for heavily loaded setups where a standard swivel is no longer a reasonable place to save money. In practice, it is a top-level stainless BB swivel – a standalone rotating point for saltwater fishing, big game, heavy jigging, trolling, drifting, halibut rigs, heavy leaders and extreme freshwater use.

The main difference compared with common swivels is smooth rotation under load. With large fish, the weak point is not only the hook, leader or main line, but every connection point in the whole setup. If the swivel does not rotate smoothly under pressure, torsion can be transferred into the braid, leader or rig. BKK Infinity Swivel is built for situations where the rotating component must keep working even under heavy tension.

Stainless steel construction, precise finishing and thoroughly polished surfaces make this swivel a component for anglers who build rigs for powerful fish and do not want to underestimate the link between main line, leader, ring, hook or lure. BKK Infinity Swivel makes sense wherever high load, saltwater, strong fish and rigs that can twist during fishing or fighting are part of the game.

Typical use includes tuna, halibut, large catfish, kingfish, amberjack, sharks and other powerful species. It is suitable for drifting with natural or live bait, trolling, heavy jigging, stronger saltwater leaders and rigs where a high-quality swivel has a real function – not just a formal place in the setup. In these techniques, smooth rotation and reduced torsion can help the whole system work cleaner under pressure.

This logic is also clearly visible in BKK Monster Circle Drifting Special, a ready-made circle hook system for drifting large saltwater species. That type of product is built on the same functional idea: when targeting tuna, kingfish or sharks, the rotating element must handle load, sudden runs and repeated twisting of the setup. BKK Infinity Swivel is the standalone premium swivel for anglers who build similar heavy-duty rigs themselves.

Compared with BKK Crane Swivel-62, Infinity Swivel is the higher-class option for situations where maximum smooth rotation under load is the priority. Crane Swivel-62 makes sense for strong saltwater leaders, pilkers and general heavier rigs. Infinity Swivel belongs in setups where extreme load, big game, heavy leaders and demanding fights call for a premium ball bearing swivel with the cleanest possible rotation.

It is not a universal swivel for everything. For finesse lure fishing, small wobblers, light soft lures or situations where you mainly want quick lure changes, another component will usually be more suitable – for example BKK Duolock Snap-51 without swivel or BKK Duolock Snap Swivel-51 if you need a snap with swivel for quick lure changes. Infinity Swivel is a pure rotating point for heavy rigs, not a replacement for a snap.

Choose the size according to the target fish, leader strength, rig type and overall load. Smaller sizes make sense for strong but still compact setups. Larger sizes belong in rigs for truly powerful fish, deep water, heavier lures, natural bait and situations where a higher safety margin is needed. With a swivel of this level, it is not only about the load rating on paper, but about the reliability of the whole rotating connection point.

BKK Infinity Swivel fits naturally into the premium BKK snaps & swivels system. If you build a rig with quality hooks, rings, leader material, assist components or saltwater lures, it makes sense to keep the same level of reliability in the swivel. For a wider selection of terminal tackle, you can also continue to the snaps and swivels category.

Frequently asked questions – BKK Infinity Swivel

What is BKK Infinity Swivel?

BKK Infinity Swivel is a premium stainless steel ball bearing swivel, also known as a stainless BB swivel. It works as a standalone rotating point in heavy-duty rigs where smooth rotation under load and reduced twist in braid, line or leader are important.

What is the difference between BKK Infinity Swivel and a regular swivel?

The main difference is construction and rotation under load. Standard swivels are often enough for normal rigs, but under extreme pressure they may not rotate as smoothly. BKK Infinity Swivel is designed for situations where the swivel has to work under heavy pressure from a large fish, current, depth or a heavy rig.

When should I choose BKK Infinity Swivel instead of BKK Crane Swivel-62?

BKK Crane Swivel-62 is a strong stainless steel crane swivel for heavier saltwater leaders, pilkers and general rigs. Choose BKK Infinity Swivel when you need a higher level of smooth rotation under load – for example in big game fishing, tuna rigs, halibut rigs, drifting, trolling or heavy jigging.

Is it suitable for tuna and large saltwater fish?

Yes. BKK Infinity Swivel is suitable for heavy saltwater setups where high load, rotation and connection reliability matter. It makes sense for tuna, kingfish, amberjack, sharks, halibut and other powerful fish, depending on the rig and selected swivel size.

Does BKK Infinity Swivel help reduce line twist?

Yes. Its main function is to create a smooth rotating point that helps reduce the transfer of torsion into braid, line or leader. This is important especially when drifting, trolling, fishing natural bait, heavy jigging and fighting fish that put strong twist and load into the setup.

Is BKK Infinity Swivel suitable for finesse lure fishing?

In most cases, no. For finesse lure fishing, small wobblers, light soft lures or standard freshwater setups, a smaller and simpler connector will often be a better choice. Infinity Swivel is a premium swivel for extreme load, not a universal swivel for every rig.

Should I use Infinity Swivel, Snap Swivel or a standalone snap?

Use Infinity Swivel as a standalone rotating point in a heavy-duty rig. If you want to attach and remove lures quickly, BKK Duolock Snap Swivel-51 is more suitable. If the lure does not rotate strongly and you want a clean connection without a swivel, use BKK Duolock Snap-51.

Can I use it with live bait or natural bait rigs?

Yes. In drifting rigs, live bait, dead bait, chunking, heavier leaders and saltwater rigs, a quality ball bearing swivel can help manage rotation and twisting of the whole setup.
