The night bioluminescence trip reveals another side of the Gulf of Nicoya. After dark, movement in the water can trigger small flashes from tiny organisms. The experience centres on a quiet boat ride, the night-time water and watching a natural phenomenon from the boat.

How the evening may unfold

The existing description suggests departure after dark, approximately between 18:00 and 19:00, with a total duration of around 1½ to 2 hours. The provider must confirm the exact time, duration, departure point, guide and return according to current conditions.

Darker nights without strong moonlight usually make observation easier. The glow naturally varies with weather, the moon and water conditions. Neither its occurrence nor its intensity can be guaranteed.
