Savage Gear 4D Herring Big Shad 25cm 300g

Product detailed description

Savage Gear 4D Herring Big Shad 25 cm / 300 g is a large soft lure imitating Atlantic herring. It is intended for sea fishing for large cod and halibut, predators that feed on herring and other baitfish.

The lure has a rocking swimming action on a steady retrieve and on the drop. Vary the pace, introduce pauses and maintain awareness of the rig as it falls. The presentation follows the movement of a prey fish.

This model is suitable for jigging and trolling. For vertical fishing, adapt lifts and pauses to the current and drift. When trolling, check the action at your chosen boat speed; the weight alone does not determine the exact fishing depth.

Different colour patterns are offered in the same size. Choose according to light, water clarity and the visibility you want. If adding a stinger, match it to the lure dimensions and existing hook arrangement, leaving the tail free to work.
