Ghost Blue by Eye Candy Pigments is a ghost / interference powder pigment for plastisol and soft bait making. It looks almost white as a dry powder, but in finished plastisol (especially over a dark base) it creates a cool blue “ghost” shimmer – a natural, fishy flash without turning the lure into an overdone metallic.

The most important rule: add the pigment to hot clear plastisol (not cold). For the strongest effect, use it as a thin clear layer poured over a dark layer, where the ghost shift really shows.

Recommended workflow for soft bait making:

1. Heat plastisol until fully clear (and keep it in the working “hot window”).
2. Add a small amount of Ghost Blue to hot clear plastisol and mix thoroughly.
3. For a stronger look, work in layers: pour a dark base first, then a thin clear “top coat” with Ghost Blue.
4. Pour into the mold and fine-tune contrast (belly / back) to match your target and water conditions.

Tips from practice: Ghost Blue is perfect when you want an “alive” shimmer without changing the core colour. It shines on the back, a side stripe, or as a thin overlay on black/smoke bases – in motion it gives that subtle signal that often makes the difference.

Quick tech notes: a powder interference pigment primarily for plastisol; light/white in the jar, strongest visual shift over dark layers in the finished lure. Dose in small steps – with ghost effects, less is often more.
