Ninja Black by Eye Candy Pigments is a pearlescent mica powder for hot plastisol designed for soft bait making. In finished baits it delivers a deep black tone with a subtle grey undertone—perfect for dark back layers, side shading and high-contrast details without making the bait look flat.

Most important rule: always add mica powder to hot clear plastisol (not cold plastisol). It shines best in clear or lightly tinted mixes where depth and pearlescent shimmer can really show.

Recommended steps for soft bait making:

1. Heat plastisol until fully clear (keep it within the working “hot window”).
2. Sprinkle a small amount of Ninja Black into hot clear plastisol and mix thoroughly.
3. Adjust intensity in small steps—especially with dark pearls, it’s safer to build up gradually than to overshoot.
4. Pour into the mold, or layer (belly / back) for a more natural silhouette.

Pro tips: Ninja Black is excellent for “dark back” patterns and subtle shading in baitfish-style colors. For a light smoke effect in clear plastisol, use only a tiny pinch. For a stronger black pearl look, increase slowly and test small batches—different plastisol recipes and working temperatures can behave slightly differently.

Quick technical notes: mica pigment; particle size 10–60 µm; manufacturer heat threshold 392–572 °F (approx. 200–300 °C). Ingredients (per manufacturer): mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide.
