Olive Yellow by Eye Candy Pigments is a pearlescent mica powder made for soft bait making in plastisol. In finished baits it delivers a natural olive shimmer, depth and a subtle “alive” flash – a perfect fit for baitfish looks, perch vibes and clean, natural color blends.

Most important rule: add the pigment to hot clear plastisol (not cold). It shines best in clear or lightly tinted mixes where the pearlescent depth can really show.

Recommended steps for soft bait making:

1. Heat plastisol until fully clear (keep it in the workable “hot window”).
2. Add a small amount of Olive Yellow to hot clear plastisol and mix thoroughly.
3. Adjust intensity in small steps – with pearls, it’s better to build up than to overshoot.
4. Pour into the mold, or layer (belly / back) for a more natural finish.

On-the-water tips: Olive Yellow is a great base for natural olive tones. For extra contrast, keep the pearl in a clear layer and place a lightly tinted layer underneath (soft green / tea / smoke). It also works beautifully as a subtle belly shimmer when you want a natural underside instead of pure white.

In short: a mica pigment powder for plastisol – adds depth, shimmer and a lively flash without changing the mix consistency. Built primarily for soft bait making with hot plastisol.
