SAF Screw Fish Head (270g)

Product detailed description

SAF Screw Fish Head Natural 270 g is a screw-in lead head for sea fishing with large soft lures and natural baits longer than 10 cm. The screw fitting goes into the front of the bait, while the hooks can be positioned separately to suit its length and shape.

The head is intended primarily for large fish imitations, soft jerkbaits and shads. With no main hook running through the body, you can fit a trace or stinger while leaving the moving part of the lure free. It can also be used with natural fish bait such as herring.

In addition to the main line eye, the head has upper and lower eyes for hook traces. These allow you to attach a trace with a single hook or a tandem arrangement to suit your chosen rig. Match the trace length to the bait and check that the bait is securely fitted before lowering the rig into the water.

The construction is based on strong stainless steel wire anchored inside the lead body. The Natural version has a natural lead finish, weighs 270 g and is supplied individually. Choose the hooks and trace to suit the presentation you intend to use.
