BKK Hooks Beastly Cat 7/0# 5 Pack

Product detailed description

BKK Beastly Cat 7/0 (5 pcs) is a forged single hook designed primarily for targeting large catfish. Its heavier wire suits bulky bait and a suitably strong rig, while leaving the point and gape free to work.

Heavy wire and a forged body are paired with a Hand Ground point. The Super Slide finish reduces resistance during penetration. A sharp hook still needs a properly built leader, an appropriate hookset and a suitable drag setting.

For size 7/0, compare the actual dimensions with the bulk of your bait. Keep the point clear of the bait and other rig components. Tie the eye so the knot is not stressed over a sharp edge, and pull-test the connection after tightening.

Beastly Cat is primarily a catfish hook. If you also use it at sea, rinse thoroughly in fresh water and dry after every session. Super Slide does not guarantee corrosion-proof material. Damaged coating, an opened eye or a damaged point should prompt replacement.
