BKK Big Bait 9/0 (3pcs)

Product detailed description

BKK Big Bait 9/0 is a bait-fishing single hook with a wide bend, an offset needle point and a Super Slide finish.

The forged shank and 45° upturned eye suit a snell connection around the shank. The wide bend leaves room for bulkier natural bait.

Choose a baitfish or a piece of natural bait that matches the hook. For sizes 7/0 to 9/0, SAF also recommends pieces of mackerel or herring for saltwater hake fishing.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Is this a circle hook?

No. Big Bait is a J-style single hook. Its use should not be confused with circle hooks whose point turns sharply towards the shank.

How do I choose the size?

Size numbers vary between hook series; compare actual dimensions and intended use as well.

How should I care for the hooks?

Rinse with fresh water and dry after saltwater use. Check the point, eye and shape after impact or a snag; replace a damaged hook.
