Product detailed description
Concrete fishing Sinker Mold Grippa 300g | SAF Concrete Series is designed for repeated production of heavy concrete fishing sinkers, with an emphasis on shape accuracy, working stability and reliable use in demanding conditions. The mold is 3D printed from PETG material and dimensioned for a concrete mix with a density of 2300 kg/m³.
2 casting cavities = efficient production of heavier sinkers
The 300g version features two casting cavities, which makes practical sense for larger and heavier sinkers. The mold remains robust, easy to handle and suitable for repeated production without unnecessary compromises in body strength.
Grippa 300g: mainly for bait boat use, current and sloping bottoms
This weight is not designed as a standard all-round sinker for regular casting. It makes the most sense where you need to anchor the rig securely – during bait boat placement, in flowing water, on sloping bottoms, bars, drop-offs or in places where lighter sinkers are more likely to shift.
Why the Grippa shape works in tougher conditions
The Grippa shape is designed to help the sinker hold its position even on uneven bottoms or where current is pushing against the rig. The studs on the body improve contact with the bottom, the flatter profile supports stability, and the overall design helps reduce unwanted movement or rolling when used correctly.
Robust construction for accurate castings
The mold body is designed as reinforced and shape-stable, helping to prevent unwanted flexing or deformation during normal fixing and filling. This is essential for keeping the final concrete sinker consistent in both shape and dimensions.
Corner holes = flexible fixing options
The mold includes prepared corner holes / pass-through points for easy assembly with bolts (for example with wing nuts or star knobs). If you prefer a different workflow, the mold can also be secured with suitable clamps. When fixed properly, the mold keeps its shape and helps produce a clean, repeatable casting result.
Spring insert or 1 mm stainless steel wire: choose the attachment option you need
The mold is designed to work well with a stainless steel spring insert No. 1, which is placed into the mold before pouring the mix. After the concrete is poured and cured, it creates a firm anchor point in the finished sinker. For larger molds or more specific attachment requirements, the spring insert can also be replaced with a properly shaped stainless steel wire with a diameter of 1 mm.
Recommendation before pouring the mix
Before filling the mold, we recommend applying a light release layer to the inner surfaces so the finished sinker can be removed more easily. In practice, anglers often use a thin film of vegetable oil or a light spray oil (for example a WD-40 type spray). Apply only a thin layer to avoid affecting surface detail.
300g weight reference note
The stated 300g weight is based on a concrete mix with a density of 2300 kg/m³. Final weight may vary slightly depending on the exact mix recipe, water content, compaction and curing process. We recommend verifying the final weight with a test casting.
SAF Concrete Series molds are a solid choice for anglers who want full control over heavy concrete sinker production — from mix selection to final colour and surface finish. The 300g version makes the most sense where stronger rig anchoring and better stability are needed in more demanding conditions. Custom weight versions are available on request, depending on your specific requirements.
