ICE fish Fleuron 0.6 mm is a very practical leader line for sea fishing, making sense wherever the angler does not want to move into the clearly heavy-duty diameters, but still needs a strong and durable material for normal sea fishing use. This size is especially suitable for lighter to medium-heavy sea spinning, classic cod rigs and lighter to medium mackerel feather systems, where it is important to combine easy rig tying with a still-solid reserve of strength.

Based on the available information, this is not a pure fluorocarbon line, but a hybrid construction combining a nylon core with an abrasion-resistant outer layer. In practice, that matters because Fleuron is not built mainly around marketing claims about invisibility, but around real function in sea fishing. It offers good abrasion resistance, solid knot strength and very comfortable usability wherever the angler needs a leader material that ties easily and still takes real abuse.

An interesting point is that ICE fish Fleuron 0.6 mm can also be used in freshwater fishing as a leader material for pike. In practice, however, the 0.7 mm version is generally the safer and more universal option for pike leaders, because it offers a better reserve of durability. That means 0.6 mm makes sense mainly where the angler wants a finer solution or a lighter pike leader, but still does not want to use a traditional wire trace.

Compared with an ordinary lower-cost monofilament, Fleuron offers better durability for sea fishing leaders and a tougher character for harder use. Compared with pure fluorocarbon, its role is different — instead of focusing on the lowest possible visibility in the water, it leans more on practicality, abrasion resistance and price/performance value. At 0.6 mm, that balance is especially attractive because this is still a serious diameter, but already much more comfortable for classic tied rigs and lighter spinning applications.
