SAF Torpedo RED is a saltwater jig head with an elongated body for slim-profile soft plastics.

The torpedo body suits slim soft plastics and worm-style lures such as selected ZOOM models. Leave the moving section of a long curled tail free. Match the weight to depth, current and drift speed. The colour itself does not guarantee bites.

Hold the hook alongside the soft plastic before rigging. The shank should not extend into the moving tail, and the point needs enough clearance from the bait body. Lure length and hook size alone do not guarantee the right fit.

• Hook: VMC 5150 RD.
• Weights: 20, 25, 40, 50 g. Check the options for current availability.
