The ICE fish MONSTER ICE swivel has a black nickel finish and a connection eye at each end. It creates a rotating link between two rig sections. There is no quick-release snap on this model.

In saltwater natural bait rigs, it helps limit the transfer of bait rotation towards the main line. For pirking it can form the upper connection of a leader. With vertical softbait rigs, placing the swivel above the leader can be more useful than adding bulk immediately beside the jig head. For trolling, identify where rotation occurs before choosing its position.

Use an appropriate strength reserve without adding unnecessary connector weight. For a rig that branches towards a separate sinker and hook trace, consider the MONSTER three-way double swivel instead; it performs a different rig-building role.
