STANLEY Adventure Big Grip / Stay Chill Stein around 700 ml combines an open drinking edge, vacuum insulation and a substantial handle. For the corresponding current 0.71 L stein, STANLEY states up to seven hours cold and up to 30 hours iced under manufacturer test conditions. It is designed for drinking on site, not sealed transportation.

Cold retention depends on the starting temperature of the drink, ambient conditions, direct sun, air movement and how long an open cup sits unattended. The best result starts with an already-chilled beverage; insulation cannot actively make it colder.

STANLEY Classic Easy-Pour Growler 1.9 L is different from the pint or stein. It has double-wall vacuum insulation, a wide opening, a carry handle and a fitted, insulated lid. STANLEY states up to 24 hours cold and up to four days iced for the specified model. Its design focuses on carrying a larger drink supply and dispensing it on arrival.

The growler is specifically designed to carry beer and help maintain carbonation. This is a significant exception to the general advice against fizzy drinks in ordinary sealed vacuum bottles. Never assume the beer growler’s intended use extends to unrelated drink flasks or jars.

Open a growler containing a fizzy drink upright and cautiously. The type of beer, temperature, movement during transport and time since filling can all affect internal pressure. Do not overfill or point the opening at your face or other people.

Current product care information describes these barware items as dishwasher-safe, but their different construction still matters. Pay special attention to cleaning the growler lid and seal, while open pints, steins and shot glasses should be washed and dried completely before stacking or storage.
