SaBoFlex Plastisol Glitter – Holographic Orange is a high-temperature holographic orange glitter designed for making soft plastic lures from plastisol. It retains its colour effect in heated plastisol without bleeding pigment into the surrounding material. This makes it suitable not only for solid colours, but particularly for clear, transparent and semi-transparent patterns where the base of the lure needs to remain clean.

Unlike standard orange glitter, it does not create only monochromatic points of light. The holographic coating splits incoming light into changing prismatic reflections, causing individual particles to fade and light up again as the lure moves. The result is an irregular flash resembling small reflections from fish scales, creating a livelier effect than a uniformly coloured orange surface.

Holographic Orange has a distinctive warm colour profile. It combines particularly well with clear, amber, root beer, brown, copper, gold, red and chartreuse patterns. In a transparent body, it can work as a subtle warm detail, while a higher concentration creates a clearly visible trigger effect. It is also a logical choice for tea-stained or amber-coloured water, where it complements the naturally warm light conditions.

The 0.4 mm version disperses more evenly throughout the plastisol and creates a finer shimmer. It is suitable for small to medium-sized lures, clear bellies, translucent flanks and patterns where the glitter should gently bring the base colour to life. The 1 mm version produces larger individual flashes and is particularly effective in bulky soft baits, strong trigger patterns or parts of the lure intended to remain visually dominant during movement.

Add the glitter only after the clear plastisol has been fully heated, then mix thoroughly. When working with transparent colours, begin with a small amount and gradually increase the concentration. This approach gives you better control over how the particles affect transparency, colour temperature and the overall appearance of the finished lure.
