SAF Drop Shot Long lead weights are derived from the very popular fishing technique of the same name. The end load, above which the bait is suspended at a sufficient distance, is an ideal lure for the vast majority of freshwater and marine predators. The pencils are equipped with a high-quality rotating tapered VMC swivel. SAF Drop Shot Long is recommended for running water. Due to the sufficient length, the pencil can be bent into an ideal shape, which minimizes the possibility of getting stuck at the bottom. For fishing in still water, we recommend the shorter version of the SAF Drop Shot Short.
