Guideline AURA Blue Fly Reel
Code: GL111234Product detailed description
Guideline AURA Blue Fly Reel is a special blue edition of the AURA reel series, focused mainly on stronger single-hand rods, coastal fishing, saltwater use and double-hand salmon setups. The blue anodized finish is more distinctive than the Bronze or Titan versions, while the technical platform remains the same – lightweight CNC body, large-arbor spool, full-frame construction and smooth sealed drag.
The reel uses a sealed carbon drag system protected against water and dirt. On the larger #910, DH #810 and DH #1012 sizes, maximum drag force reaches up to 4 kg. This gives the AURA Blue enough reserve for strong fish, current, saltwater and long runs, while still keeping the brake smooth and controllable.
The large spool diameter speeds up line pick-up and improves fish control. Narrow spool widths help the line lay evenly without unnecessary stacking. The full-frame design helps prevent thin shooting lines, running lines or monofilament lines from slipping between the spool and the frame, which is especially useful for shooting head systems, coastal fishing and double-hand setups.
The AURA Blue range is narrower than AURA Bronze and focuses mainly on stronger sizes. #78 is suited for stronger single-hand rods, sea trout, light salmon, bonefish or striper, #910 is made for heavier single-hand rods and saltwater use, DH #810 matches double-hand rods around 12–14 ft, while DH #1012 is intended for larger salmon and steelhead setups.
