Guideline AURA Titan Fly Reel is the technically clean titanium-colour version of the AURA reel series, covering a very wide range of fly fishing situations — from light trout fishing and euro nymphing through sea trout, coastal fishing and heavier single-hand saltwater use to double-hand salmon and steelhead setups. The Titan finish is more neutral than the Blue version and less warm than the Bronze version, making it a clean match for both modern and classic fly rods.
The reel is built around a CNC-machined 6061 aluminium body, large-arbor spool, full-frame construction and a sealed carbon drag system. The closed carbon drag is protected against water and dirt, with maximum drag force reaching up to 3 kg on the single-hand models and up to 4 kg on the larger #910, DH #810 and DH #1012 sizes. This gives the AURA Titan enough control for fine leaders, strong fish, current, saltwater and long runs.
The large spool diameter speeds up line pick-up and improves fish control. Narrow spool widths help the line lay evenly without unnecessary stacking. The full-frame design helps prevent thin shooting lines, running lines or monofilament euro nymphing lines from slipping between the spool and the frame, which is especially useful with modern shooting head systems, euro nymphing and double-hand setups.
The key strength of AURA Titan is the complete size range. #34 and #56 suit lighter trout rods, EURO is the dedicated euro-nymphing version, #78 fits stronger single-hand rods, sea trout, light salmon or tropical fish, #910 is made for heavier single-hand and saltwater use, while DH #810 and DH #1012 are designed for double-hand salmon and steelhead setups.
