The SAF Method Series plastic body is the feeder frame that holds the cast lead insert from the mould precisely. It keeps the shape consistent and makes every build repeatable.
Assembly is fast: place the lead insert into the body and crimp it in four points with pliers. Done.
For extra durability and better camouflage, rubber paint (coating) is applied to the lead insert — it helps protect lead from oxidation and lets you match the shade to the bottom (mud = darker, sand = lighter).
