Aquantic Crane Secure Swivel combines a crane swivel with a safety snap. It offers quick changes of terminal tackle and a rotating link to help manage twist. This model is not described as a ball-bearing swivel.

For saltwater lure fishing and pirking, it allows changes of suitable lures or complete traces. With natural baits, the swivel is useful where the bait turns during lowering or retrieval. For trolling, assess sustained lure resistance in the water; a breaking-strength figure alone does not determine the right size.
