Aquantic BB Safety Swivel combines a ball-bearing swivel with a safety snap. The bearing is relevant where the terminal rig rotates repeatedly, while the snap allows the lure or complete trace to be changed without retying.

For trolling rigs with rotating components and natural bait fishing, it helps reduce transferred twist. In pirking it can connect above the trace or directly to a compatible pirk eye. A swivel is not automatically required for jigging: when a rig does not rotate, a simpler connection may affect lure movement less.

Select a strength reserve based on the complete rig and sustained load, not only pirk weight. Leave enough room for the snap to move freely inside the eye. Unlike Crane Secure Swivel, this model specifically uses a ball-bearing rotating section; the distinction is more than snap shape.

The stated rating applies to the connector. Knots, leader material, other components and shock loads affect the complete rig. Allow an appropriate reserve and set the reel drag accordingly.

How should I care for it after sea fishing?
