Savage Gear Norwegian Snap Swivel combines a Norwegian-style opening snap with a swivel. It allows quick changes of terminal tackle while providing a rotating connection between the leader and the lure or rig.

For pirking and saltwater lure fishing, it is useful when changing lures with suitable eyes. In deep-water natural bait fishing it can connect a leader to an interchangeable trace. For trolling, consider continuous lure drag and check the hardbait’s action with the connector fitted. The snap must not bind against the towing eye.
