The 21 × 16 mm Spin Blade is a separate spinner blade for DIY fishing lure building and customisation. Correctly mounted, it adds flashes, vibration and water resistance to a moving lure. Use it for tail spinners and other custom rigs that need a rotating element. Each pack contains 10 blades in the selected colour.

The broad, rounded blade profile loads its attachment as it moves through water and creates a pulsing disturbance. Reflections change throughout rotation with the angle of light and can suggest the flashes of small prey. Blade action depends on the blade, its attachment and retrieve speed together. Changing the blade therefore alters resistance and start-up behaviour as well as appearance.

The silver version gives bright metallic reflections. The copper-coloured version provides a warmer tone and a different contrast against the lure body and background. Try both according to visibility, light and fish response; neither colour belongs to one fixed type of water. Copper describes the colour of this version; SAF lists the material as aluminium.

The manufacturer offers this blade for molds including F15 and F151 in the Spin Jig and tail spinner range. In that arrangement it works behind a weighted body on a rotating connection. Other custom rigs can use the same principle where clearance and balance are suitable. The blade itself does not include a complete screw-in mounting system, swivel, rings or hook.

Choose a freely moving swivel and a suitably sized connector. Keep the hook clear of the blade and make sure no component obstructs it. Test the first lure close to the bank at slow and faster speeds and during the fall. If the whole body spins or the blade stalls, adjust its attachment and component proportions.
