Grippa lead moulds are made for one thing: keeping your lead where it belongs. The flat, high-grip shape helps on slopes, edges and in current, where rounder leads tend to roll. Choose end (swivel) leads or an inline option and cast the exact weight you want.

Grippa is a go-to carp lead design because it focuses on bottom hold. In situations where classic pear/oval shapes may creep away, Grippa often stays put — especially on shelves, drop-offs, windy banks or flowing water.
A big advantage is that the grip can let you run a lower weight compared to a standard lead in the same conditions. That usually means a softer impact and less movement after the lead hits the bottom.
One honest note: Grippa isn’t built for maximum range. The shape is less aerodynamic, so for long-distance casting you’ll typically choose a more streamlined profile. Grippa shines when position on the bottom matters most (bait-boat work, short/medium casts, precise placement).
You’ll find end (swivel) Grippa moulds as well as inline moulds for a different rig feel and cleaner line path. There are also heavier options for demanding conditions and selected editions (e.g., carp-style motif on some moulds) — filter by weight and pick what matches your setup.
