The SAF Method Series mould is designed for clean, repeatable casting of the 40 g lead insert used in method feeder setups. Solid aluminium keeps temperature stable, which helps you pour consistent weights during longer casting sessions.
The 40 g version is the “keep it pinned” option: it drops quicker through the water column and holds position better on the bottom in wind or mild current—ideal when you want a steadier presentation and more control on the cast.
To complete the system, the cast lead insert is then secured into the SAF Method Series plastic feeder frame.
