F62 inline lead mold (4–30 g)

Product detailed description
The Your Mold F62 aluminum mold produces inline olive leads. Its 8 cavities cover nominal weights of 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 15 / 20 / 30 g. Use individual cavities as needed; the weights describe separate castings, not one combined lead.
F62 is the lightest inline olive in this group. Its eight weights from 4 to 30 g let you change the load without using a cast-in swivel. Compare F63 for the same weights with a swivel, or F79 for heavier inline olives at 40–100 g.
A rounded or elongated body presents a different profile from a textured Grippa. Its actual flight and movement on the bottom depend on shape, weight, current and the complete rig. Choose the lead for the venue and tackle; the name alone does not guarantee casting distance, holding or a fixed fishing depth. Prepare removable guide pins with a suitable guide-pin lubricant according to its instructions.
F62 includes eight removable 1.6 mm steel guide pins. They form the line passage during casting and are pulled out once the metal sets. Check and deburr both ends before using the lead. A 3 mm PVC tube does not fit this small guide-pin diameter.
Guide pins are casting tools; they are removed and are not part of the finished fishing rig. Tubes, coating and other finishing parts are sold separately.

From the F62 mold to a finished casting
- Prepare a clean, completely dry mold, inserts and tools. Select the required cavity.
- Fit the specified insert (included 1.6 mm metal guide pin) and verify full closure and secure holding without force.
- Cast according to the mold, metal and melting-equipment instructions. Keep plastic parts out of molten metal.
- After the metal has set and handling is safe, remove the casting and withdraw the guide pin.
- Trim the sprue and check all edges and functional passages before assembly.
- Weigh the first casting and test the complete rig before continuing with a larger batch.
The nominal weight refers to one casting. Metal composition and finishing affect the actual weight. Respect the load limits of the rod and tackle. A passage or cast-in swivel alone does not guarantee free-running behavior or safe release after line breakage. Finish the cleaned casting with a rubber lead coating according to the coating manufacturer’s instructions.
Casting safety
- Never pour molten metal into a damp mold. Inserts and tools must also be completely dry.
- Wear safety glasses and suitable protective gloves. Use a stable, heat-resistant work area with effective ventilation.
- Follow the instructions for the mold, metal and melting equipment. The mold temperature limit is not a recommended pouring temperature.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke when working with lead. Keep casting equipment separate from kitchen utensils and wash your hands afterwards.
