F10 mold for looped and inline sinkers (140g) + 100 free loops

Product detailed description

The Your Mold F10 lead mold combines two constructions in one aluminum mold. Its three cavities produce two looped leads and one inline lead, each with a nominal weight of 140 g. This lets you make leads for different rigs while keeping the same lead weight. You can also use an individual cavity without filling the others.

The elongated hexagonal body is less inclined to roll than a smooth, rounded lead. How it holds still depends on the slope and firmness of the bottom, current and line tension. Use the F10 for carp fishing and other bottom fishing when 140 g suits the venue and tackle. For lighter looped leads in the same shape family, compare the F85 (110–140 g); for a more textured body, consider the combined Grippa F43 (100–140 g). The two looped-lead cavities take a Your Mold size 1 loop during casting. Its embedded section remains anchored in the lead, leaving the eye exposed for attaching the rig. Before pouring, check that the selected loop sits correctly in its recess and that both mold halves close fully.

The inline cavity uses one included Ø 3.2 × 80 mm metal guide pin to form the passage through the lead. Once the metal has solidified, the pin is removed; it is not part of the finished fishing rig. Fit a 3 mm PVC tube in Dark green or Dark brown, or the long 2.5 mm Black SAF0100 tube, into the cooled and deburred casting. The Black version comes in packs of 100 and can be cut to the required length. Check the tube ends and make sure the line passes freely.

This offer includes 100 free SAF size 1 universal stainless steel loops (SAFNP-100, height 15 mm, wire Ø 1.3 mm). These universal loops are a different product from the original Your Mold 7204 loop; always check how the selected part sits in the mold before casting. PVC tubes, additional loops and coating are sold separately. Finish the lead with a suitable rubber coating, following the coating manufacturer's instructions.

Weight and insert overview

140 g is the nominal weight of each casting, not the combined weight of all three cavities. The metal used and finishing affect the actual weight. Keep within the casting load of your rod and tackle. A hole through the lead alone does not guarantee a free-running or drop-off rig; the tube, swivel, stops and hooklink also determine how the complete rig behaves.

Does the F10 produce three identical leads?

All three cavities have a nominal weight of 140 g each. Two produce looped leads and one produces an inline lead. You do not have to fill them all at once.

What is included?

The F10 aluminum mold, one removable Ø 3.2 mm guide pin measuring 80 mm in length, and 100 free SAF size 1 universal stainless steel loops. PVC tubes and other accessories are sold separately.

Which tube fits the inline lead?

Use a 3 mm PVC tube in Dark green or Dark brown, or the long 2.5 mm Black SAF0100 tube. Fit it only after removing the metal guide pin and allowing the casting to cool.

Does an inline lead automatically make a drop-off rig?

No. Line movement and lead release depend on the complete rig. Check the tube, swivel, stops and hooklink together in the combination you intend to fish.

When should I choose another mold?

Consider the F85 for lighter hexagonal looped leads from 110 to 140 g. Compare the F43 for textured Grippa leads from 100 to 140 g. Each mold requires its own specified inserts.
