The Your Mold F205 lead casting mold produces Eel Head jig heads in 60, 80, 100 and 120 g. Its elongated, wedge-shaped profile tapers towards the front and suits soft jerkbaits and other narrow soft plastics. For fishing in Norway, it covers presentations ahead of the boat and beneath it, particularly when targeting pollack, coalfish and cod.

Choose F205 primarily for the transition from the head to the lure body. Its eel-style nose creates a different front profile from the more cylindrical torpedo heads made with F220 and F107. With a correctly rigged soft bait, it can form the outline of a slender prey fish. The head presents a narrow front when pulled forwards; test the complete lure, because the hook and pull angle also affect its action.

Do I need to trim the front of the soft bait?
