Your Mold F139 aluminum lead mold produces heavy fish-eye heads in 240 / 280 g. It has 2 cavities, one per weight. The manufacturer calls this design Norwegentrailer; its attachment specification is based on eyelets.
Vertical fishing with a baitfish uses the weight to control the presentation beneath the boat. Choose weight by current, drift, depth and bait drag; keep the complete rig within its rated limits. The 240 and 280 g heads cover a heavier range than F129 and F130. No single weight specifies a fixed fishing depth.
A fireball rig combines a weighted head, a single hook holding the bait and, where required, a hooklink or stinger with a treble farther along the fish. Hook positions and stinger length must suit the bait. The Aquantic Fireball System sold by SAF illustrates a complete saltwater version with a replaceable single hook and a fluorocarbon stinger. Its quick-change mechanism and hook fittings are properties of that finished product; compatibility with this mold has not been established.
The same general presentation principle is also used in freshwater catfish fishing with deadbait, a whole baitfish or a fish section. A heavier weight can help when bait drag and current demand it, but weight alone does not make a rig suitable for catfish. Select and test the hook arrangement, hooklink and connectors for the intended load; a mold does not establish their strength.
Use original Your Mold stainless steel eyelets, size 2, as specified for this mold. They are cast into the lead and remain as attachment points. Adhesive eyes are 8 mm and are fitted after cooling. The published specification does not identify a jig-hook model to cast into this mold, so do not substitute a hook merely because it seems to fit.
A removable cheburashka wire clip is a different attachment design. A round lead head with cast-in eyelets is not automatically a cheburashka with an interchangeable clip. No compatible removable clip or channel for it has been confirmed for F139. For that freshwater technique, choose a purpose-designed mold with a specified clip.

From the mold to a finished head
- Prepare a clean, completely dry mold, metal inserts and tools.
- Seat the specified size 2 eyelets in the mold’s prepared recesses. Check complete closure without force.
- Cast according to the mold, metal and melting-equipment instructions. Keep plastic parts and adhesive eyes away from molten metal.
- After solidification, remove the casting safely and allow it to cool completely. Deburr it and inspect the eyelet anchoring.
- Weigh the first casting. Finish the surface as instructed for your coating, keep the eyelets clear and fit 8 mm eyes after cooling.
- Test all connections and the complete rig before making a larger batch.
Nominal weights refer to individual castings. Metal composition, trimming and coating affect actual weight, so weigh the first casting from each cavity used. Inspect every eyelet and connector before use.
Finish with a suitable powder or rubber lead coating according to its instructions. Keep attachment eyes open and glue decorative eyes to a clean, dry, cool surface. The offer is for a mold; a complete baitfish rig is assembled separately. Compare the other Fireball and magic-ball molds by weight and their own insert requirements.
Casting safety
- Never pour molten metal into a damp mold. Inserts and tools must also be completely dry.
- Wear safety glasses and suitable protective gloves; use a stable, heat-resistant workplace with effective ventilation.
- Follow the instructions for the mold, metal and melting equipment. A mold temperature limit is not a recommended pouring temperature.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke while working with lead. Keep casting equipment separate from kitchen utensils and wash your hands afterwards.
